Shihan Babin studied under Shihan Paul Landry, now retired, former director, at the Gardner Goju-Kai since 1996. He transferred to the Spencer Goju-Kai in 2013 and studied under Shihan Steven Chalmers. Now, as of November 26, 2016, Shihan Babin was granted to be Director of the Athol Goju-Kai, by representing the National Headquarters of Goju-Kai Karate-Do, USA.
